Opening with the intimate pairing of Antoine Morinière’s classical guitar and Mohammed Jaberi’s daf, the piece expands into a rich Middle Eastern soundscape shaped by The Sami Yusuf Ensemble. Flamenco rhythms emerge through the artistry of guitarists José Manuel León and Tarik Hilal, while a soulful balaban solo by Maqsad Azizov anchors the piece in Azerbaijani melodic tradition.

Spanish vocalist Israel Moro brings the fire of cante flamenco, interpreting mystical verses from Santa Teresa of Ávila and San Juan de la Cruz. Sami Yusuf’s own vocals rise with quiet power, leading seamlessly into Moroccan vocalist Nabyla Maan’s ethereal tones and a deeply expressive performance by Ismail Boujia. With only sparse accompaniment—daf and understated guitar—the vocals are held in a meditative, minimalist embrace.
